There is a shuttle that runs from Cathedral Square to the International Antarctic Centre. The shuttle is not able to be booked but they can pay ($15 return) when they meet the bus. Here is the timetable.
Quake City
A visit to Quake City is a must to understand the seismic events that shook Christchurch and Canterbury more than a decade ago.
This special exhibition at 299 Durham Street North, Christchurch, is packed with interesting displays and interactives for all ages. Hear from those who lived through the earthquakes and those who came to help.

Ravenscar House Museum
Visit Ravenscar House Museum to view one of New Zealand’s most significant private art collections displayed in a stylish contemporary house.
Located at 52 Rolleston Avenue, Christchurch, you will discover a wall-to-wall collection of wonderful New Zealand art. Gifted to the people of Christchurch by Jim and Susan Wakefield, it is cared for by Canterbury Museum. 10% discount on the entry fee will be given by showing your conference lanyard.
