Important Information: Meet at the Hobson's Memorial Entrance at the Upper Grounds by 5.15pm see site map here - and goggle map below. Alternatively meet at the Registration Desk, Copthorne Hotel at 5pm and hosts will walk with you to the entrance - 5-8 min walk.
The welcome reception will be held at the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where delegates will be welcomed with a Powhiri and speeches followed by drinks and nibbles.
The Treaty Grounds are often call the ‘Birthplace of the Nation’, Waitangi weaves together the strands and stories of many people, events, and places of reveal the rich cultural history of Aotearoa New Zealand, offering an inspiring and meaningful experience. The Treaty Grounds can also be explored independently for those wanting a more in-depth knowledge of Aotearoa New Zealand history.
