Disruption Due to Middle East Unrest
We are aware that some delegates may be experiencing travel disruptions due to the current unrest in the Middle East. We understand that this situation is both unsettling and disruptive, and that changes to travel plans can result in unexpected costs and difficult decisions.
While we genuinely regret the impact this may have, the refund deadline for this event closed at the end of the day on 2 March 2026 (NZ time), as per the Cancellation Policy which formed part of the registration and can be found on the event website. As this date has now passed, we are unfortunately not able to offer refunds, as we have already committed to costs with our suppliers. We recommend you speak with your travel insurance providers to see what costs will be covered through them.
However, registrations can be transferred to another person if that would be helpful, and we would be pleased to assist with arranging this.
If you are presenting
· If alternative travel means you arrive later than 22 March, the committee will organise the programme to
find a new time slot for you.
· If you find yourself unable to attend, we would ask that you provide a recording of your talk which we will play.
· Alternatively, you could ask another attendee to present on your behalf

NOTE: Napier is a 5-6 hour drive from Auckland International Airport. Regional travel on domestic flights can be delayed or cancelled due to weather events - we highly recommend arriving early or the day before you are due in Napier. In addition, allow plenty of time to connect with your international flight home or stay at an airport hotel the night prior.
Please ensure you meet the visa requirements and COVID-19 requirements before you travel to New Zealand including any transit visa requirements. (this is especially applicable for Australia)
Please also ensure you have purchased appropriate travel insurance prior to your arrival.
International Connections to Napier
Napier only has a domestic airport and you will need to connect to Napier from your international arrival gateway city, either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Air New Zealand does offer frequent daily services into Napier from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
