Pre-symposium workshop for students and early career researchers

11:00: Technical Sessions:
           Introduction of the fundamentals of programming in baseR
           Developing interactive computer applications for agricultural science
15:15: Career Development Sessions:
           An unconventional career pathway starting at the bottom: What have I learned?
           How did I end up here? A short story about a long career
           Taking advantage of opportunities during the 'gold age of pomological research'

16:30: Networking - Meet Your Peers and Mentors 
           We will match students and early career researchers up with a senior researcher who can share their career path,
           listen to your career aspirations and introduce you to colleagues during the symposium

Minimum number of 10 delegates are required for this to proceed with a maximum number 25.
